CALDWELL—Services for John L. Gill Sr., 62, of 2505 Irene, Boise, who died Tuesday in Blackfoot, will be conducted at the Peckham-Dakan Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Gail Davis of the Treasure Valley Christian Church will officiate. Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 39, AF&AM, will conduct services at Canyon Hill.
Mr. Gill was born Aug. 26, 1904, in St. Anthony, Iowa, and attended schools there. He moved to Boise in 1922, and attended Link's Business College for a year. He was married May 23, 1926, in Preston to Sylvia Hansen. He had been employed for the past 30 years by the Idaho Power Co.
He was a member of the American Falls Lodge, AF&AM, and the Scottish Rite bodies of Boise, and the First Christian Church.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Gill are a son, John Lester Gill Jr., with the Navy at Norfork, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce L. Whittig of Los Angeles, and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Turner of Boise.
