Ed Fisk, 85, a former resident of Appanoose County, died at his home in Floris, Iowa, Wednesday, April 20, 1960. Mr. Fisk was the father of Mrs. Fred Leigh of Centerville, Iowa, and Edgar Fisk of Cincinnati, Iowa.

Other children are Roy of Floris, Iowa; Harold of Reasnor, Iowa; Elsie Thompson of Newton, Iowa; William of Los Angeles, California; Bertha Hammer of San Francisco, California; Loman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Ralph of New Blaine, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Estella Mael, February 21, 1953, and one son, Raymond, August 7, 1917; four brothers, John, Otho, Oll, and Jim, and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Melcher. On October 19, 1954, he was married to Mrs. Mary Fiedler (Saga Maria "Mary" Crook) who died August 31, 1957.

One brother, Lon, of Phoenix, Arizona, also survives, along with 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and four stepchidren.

Mr. Fisk had farmed all his life, and was born in 1875 at Blakesburg. He had lived most of his life in Appanoose County, moving to the Floris vicinity in 1940. He retired ten years ago and lived at Floris. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church at Floris.

Funeral services were at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Iowa.
