JOHN H. MORELAND Of 221 Sixth avenue, died unexpectedly at his home yesterday afternoon at 2.45 o’clock. Mr. Moreland was born in Huntingdon county Sept. 23, 1866, the son of John and Mary (Yocum) Moreland. He retired as an engineer on the Middle division in 1931 after 60 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie (Welliver) Moreland; two daughters, Edna of Sacramento Calif., and Lola of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother and one sister, Grant Moreland of Lakemont and Mrs. Ida Diehl of Broad Top; a half-sister, Mrs. Alice Dubb of Altoona; two step-sons, John and Edward Proudfoot of Rahway, N. J.; a number of stepchildren and also a number of grandchildren. He was a member of the Faith tabernacle and B. of L. F. & E. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after noon tomorrow.
