Sandra Maynard, age 60, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Grace Healthcare. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Steve Woody officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 4-8pm and again on Friday from 9am until the hour of service.
Mrs. Maynard was born January 3, 1955 in Robertson County to the late Susie Belle Hackney Fulps. She worked at Fred’s as a Cashier and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Maynard was known as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and especially loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother Mrs. Maynard is preceded in death by her “In-Laws”, James Woodrow and Erlene Maynard, her brothers, Buster Fulps, Tommy Fulps and James Fulps and her sisters, Julze Morse and Tiny Mae Fulps.
Mrs. Maynard is survived by her husband, James Maynard; son, James (Chastas) Knight of Clarksville; daughters, Tiffany (William) Rippy of Springfield, Kim (Derick) Cannon of Clarksville and Tracy Maynard of Clarksville; her devoted friend, Pam Maitland of Greenbrier; brothers, James Morse of Kentucky, James Rae of California, Tommy Rae of Arizona, John Davis of Florida and Robert Davis; sister, Martha Taylor of Carthage; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
