Margaret J. Nyhoff, 82, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. She was born in Omaha on October 20, 1927, the daughter of Frank and Pearl (McCarty) Murphy. Margaret married Gerald E. Nyhoff on January 21, 1950. Margaret was recognized as a volunteer of countless hours for the VFW, City of Lincoln & Lancaster County, and the State of Nebraska.
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Virginia and Gerald Catlett; sons & daughters-in-law: Charles and Cheryl Nyhoff, Darrell and Carol Nyhoff; Thomas and Deb Nyhoff; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Preceded in death by husband, Gerald; son, Brian; granddaughter, Stacey Munley.
