Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 23, at Mount Moriah and Freeman Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Mr. Anders was born September 23, 1917, in Linn County, KS. He was the owner of Troost Tin Shop for 35 years and served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Survivors include his sons, Buddy Michael Anders, Kansas City, MO, and Kevin Anders, Austin, TX; a daughter, Vickie M. Carter, Kansas City, MO; a brother, Bill Anders, Rich Hill, MO; sisters, Nadine Hawks and Mary Fowler Carroll, both of Kansas City, MO; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
