Mrs. Grathel Allen Lail, 95, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at Hospice of Cleveland County.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Corrie Bell Allen and widow of the late Brady A. Lail.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Darvin Allen, Hoyle Allen and Elbert Allen.
She was a charter member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church and the church organist and pianist for more than 50 years.
She retired from Minnette Mills.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, two brothers, grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at Allen Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
