FUNERAL AT LOCAL CHURCH

The death of John W. Taylor, age 77 years, occurred at his home, 502 Walker street, at 1:30 o'clock this morning. He had been a resident of Shelbvville for the past nineteen years. His marriage took place forty-three years ago. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Jane Taylor, a daughter and six sons. They are: George and Charles Taylor, and Mrs. Daisy Bock, of Indianapolis; Harry Taylor, of Venice, California; Frank Taylor, of Toledo, Ohio, and John and Ed Taylor, of this city. A daughter died several years ago. He also leaves a brother, George Taylor, of Lakin, Illinois, twenty-one grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Vine Street Methodist Protestant church Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, with the Rev. F.E. Crider, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Charles M. Ewing in charge.
