He served on the Idaho State Police for two years and earned many trophies for becoming a sharp shooter. He was a truck driver for many years working for others and owning his own milk truck. He loved his old motor home and enjoyed spending time up North Canyon with good friends and family.
He married Evelyn Jessop on Jan. 19, 1990. With their blended family there were five boys and five girls. There are now thirty-two grandchildren (with one more due in two months) and eighteen great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children: Brett (Janene) Jensen, Kurt Jensen, Jodi (Ed) Louder, Kelly (Taralie) Jensen, Lori (Jim) Nielsen, Holly (Aaron) Gough, Alan Bindrup, Cindy (Steve) Allison, Debi (Dale) Carlson, by a brother, Rickie Jensen and by many dear friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by a son, Tony Stevens and by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Noon in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st South, Preston, Idaho with Bishop Paul Smart conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 8th East, Preston and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
