OSTRUM SUMMERS DIES
Ostrum Summers, 77, a resident of Grant Township, Huron County, for more than 60 years, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at his farm home of a heart attack. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p, m. in the Gagetown Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Clarence Sanborn, the pastor, officiated and burial was made in Grant township Cemetery.
Mr. Summers was born Jan. 13, 1875, in St. Clair County and married Miss Wealtha Sherman in Ontario on Oct. 24, 1911.
Surviving, besides his widow, are 7 children: Mrs. Wm. Severn, Mrs. Frank Atkinson of Grant Township, Lawrence and Clifton at home, Mrs. Elgin Rasmussen of Gagetown, Mrs. Milton Woolner of Hazel Park and Alton of Pontiac; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard Summers, of Mt. Clemens.
