First husband of Mary Helena (Granger) Arnold Bates (1893-1939). Albert and Mary were married on September 9, 1909 and they had four children together: Sylvia, Eva, Violet and Alvin Arnold. Albert was the son of Frank H. Arnold and Mary Kate (Sandy) Arnold. He died at age 23.
