Nicholas Aebig was born April 1, 1867, in the town of Clifford, Ontario, Canada, and died at Crete, Nebraska, May 9, 1931, age 64 years, 1 month and 8 days. He came to the United States when but a small boy and on April 8, 1883, was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Plymouth, Nebraska. On March 5, 1896, he married Miss Julia Koenig. To this union were born two children, Alma and Edna.

From Plymouth the family moved to DeWitt and in 1911 to Crete. Alma, the oldest daughter, preceded her father in death nearly four years ago.

There are left to mourn his going his wife; his daughter, Mrs. Edna A Hulbert; three brothers and one sister: Charles Aebig of Chappell, Nebraska; Jacob Aebig of Saskatchewan, Canada; George Aebig of Shelby, Michigan; and Mrs. Carrie Kreutzer of Clifford, Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Aebig was well known and had a great many friends, made through the years of business and associations, who sympathize with the bereaved family in this hour of affliction.

Burial was made in Lincoln Memorial Cenetery.

The deceased was a member of the Security Benefit Association of Crete.
