Albert and George Abare (Brothers) had a really bad Fued; so bad, that George changed the spelling of his last name to Abair, so that not to be associated with the name "Abare". The two did not speak for years. Later in life, the two brothers made Peace between them, leading them to be buried side be side in St. Aloysis Cemetery, Indian Orchard, Springfield, Ma. One of the first graves you see upon entering the Cemetery through the Main Gate.
Looking through Birth Certificates in Ludlow, Ma; Looks like when George was born, his name got legally logged as Abair. Could this be the reason why there are two spellings of the last name, or does this Family Tale have any Truth to it?
