Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in Jeffersonville, Ind., for Mrs. Irma (Collins) Stroup, 39, a former resident of Edon, and the sister of Mrs. Ruth Thiel and Mrs. Mable Poole of Edgerton, as well as Mrs. Lenora Trausch of Edon, who died earlier in the week of a gunshot wound. Her husband is being held by Indiana authorities in the connection with the shooting pending a grand jury investigation.
Besides the husband and Ohio sisters, she is survived by a daughter, Tammy Lou; one brother, Donald Collins, Defiance; and four other sisters, Mrs. Edith Johnston, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Alice Holman, Angola, Mrs. Mildred Webb, Butler, and Mrs. Naomi Field, Flint, Mich.
