Dr. Malcolm Graeme MacNevin, 77, a member of the staff of Southern Pacific Hospital, San Francisco, for 13 years and a resident of Palo Alto for about a year and a half, passed away on a train en route from Los Angeles Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Roller and Hapgood chapel. Interment will follow in the family crypt at Woodlawn. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louise MacNevin, a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn MacNevin Seaman, a grandson, Malcolm Seaman, now in the army, and two sisters, Mrs. A. W. Morse of Butte, Mont. and Mrs. David Aspland of Palo Alto. Dr. MacNevin, who lived in San Mateo before coming here, was a native of Hamilton, Ont. He graduated from the medical college of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and did postgraduate work at Johns Hopkins, as well as in England and Germany. Following graduation, he practiced medicine in Butte for several years, and as surgeon was connected with the Anaconda Copper Mining Company. Later he practiced in New York City. He was there during the last war. In the 1920's he came west again. Since graduation he spent more than 50 years in the practice of medicine. He was honored at his 50th class reunion at Ann Arbor in 1940.
