Mrs. Agnes Emma Duncan, who died March 6 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.W. Cooper, in this city, and buried March 10 in Oak shade cemetery, Marion, was born Oct. 27, 1847. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. For three years she had been in failing health and everything that loving hearts could devise and willing hands could perform was done for her recovery, but death was inexorable.
Three daughters and two sons are left to mourn her loss. The Rev. G.E. Lair preached the funeral sermon at the Beatty chapel. A large concourse of friends was present to show their sympathy for the mourners--Contributed.
