Jeremy Ryan Robinson was born on September 13th 1976 at Carroll County General Hospital in Westminster, MD as the son of Linda Susan (nee Nerim) and Scott M. Robinson.

As a boy, Jeremy loved baseball and became an excellent player. He played for the 1989 Westminster Little League Maryland state championship team. Jeremy was nicknamed "J.R." by his young teammates. Jeremy graduated Westminster High School as a member of the class of 1994. He had been a starring pitcher for the WHS Owl's baseball team. In recognition of his pitching skills and academic achievement, he was granted a scholarship at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. There he pitched effectively for the C-NU Eagle's baseball team and majored in education and mathematics. After graduation from college he signed a professional baseball contract with a minor league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds organization, the Richmond Roosters. This was the highpoint of his athletic career.

Jeremy began teaching in the Carroll County MD public school system in 2001 and married Jami Maxcy, also a teacher in the CCPSS on June 22, 2002. He completed his formal education in 2008 with a Master's degree in education at McDaniel College of Westminster, MD.

Mr. Robinson taught math to elementary and middle school students for the greater part of fourteen years, along with life skills, as many of his former students attest. He also coached baseball at Winters Mill High and North Carroll High School. He was an active member of New Hope Fellowship Church. Jeremy led a youth group for several years and participated in three missions to Honduras.

Surviving in addition to his parents and his former wife is his three year old son, stepfather Tony Ciliberti, stepmother Patricia J. Robinson, three half sisters and two half brothers. He is also survived by grandmother Jeanne R. (nee Bender) Nerim along with four uncles. He was predeceased by grandparents Kenneth I. Nerim Sr., Francis X. Robinson and Shirley Luray (nee Larrimore) Robinson.

Suddenly, on Friday, October 31, 2014, Jeremy Ryan Robinson was called home by our heavenly Father. He was 38 years, 1 month and 18 days old.
