Raymond W. Bollinger, 83, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Monday, January 5, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on February 4, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Herman Bollinger and Lena M. Nagel Bollinger.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married Irene Keevil in 1947 in Chicago, Illinois at St. Catherine Catholic Church. He moved to Bella Vista 16 years ago from Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He loved to fish and was a member of the Bella Vista Fly Tyers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Kenneth, Charles, and Herman, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Bollinger of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sons, Mike Bollinger of Essex, Illinois, Paul Bollinger of Chicago, Illinois; one daughters, Susan Gusich of Peoria, Arizona; one sister, Eileen Sutor of California; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Prayer Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas with Deacon Ray Brust officiating.
