Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
A former resident of Jasper and long time Mount Pleasant resident, Lester was a retired supervisor for Pilgrim Pride after over thirty years.
He loved spending time with his wife Mary Jane. He liked fishing, collecting guns and working.
He is survived by a brother George Rogers and wife Jean of Colmesneil, Texas and sister Sherry Hilderbrand and husband Lucien of Jasper. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents W.T. and Bonnie Rogers and his wife of over fifty years Mary Jane Sowell Rogers.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
