Charles Aaron Beckley
Charles Aaron Beckley, 75, 506 N. Broadway, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at his home. He was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Miami County to Charles and Goldie Clauve Beckley. He married Harriet M. Temple on July 27, 1947. She died Oct. 3, 1998.
Mr. Beckley retired from the Tool and Die Department at Square D Co. He was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church. Other memberships include the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the Navy.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Shields and husband Jerry, Houston, Texas; one brother, Milton Beckley, Calif.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Main Street United Methodist Church, 81 W. Main St., with the Rev. E. Dean Fager officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St.
