In the 1920 Census, it states they lived in Davison County, South Dakota and Everett was employed as mechanic. The 1925 South Dakota state Census states he was married and was an electrician.
The 1930 Census states Hanna was living in Iowa again and she had their daughters with her. Everett was not listed in the household although Hanna stated she was married. In the 1930 Census, Everett is found living alone in South Dakota (he also states he is married) working as a gasoline salesman.
They were divorced in September 1935 in Linn, Iowa.
In the 1940 Census, Everett was listed as being divorced and living as a boarder in South Dakota. He worked at a Gas & Oil company. It also says he was living in South Dakota in 1935 as well. His obituary states he was the manager of the El Morocco Night Club and the Husman Service Station (Yellow Lantern.) It also mentions his nickname was "Tommy."
He died in 1947 in a hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at age 61 after a short illness. He was buried in the Spencer Cemetery with his mother and younger sister, Henrietta. Hanna died in 1966 in Iowa and is buried in Iowa, near her family.
