Sally Cline lived a great life which ended here with us on September 2, 2014.

Sally Ann Sigmon was born in Hickory, North Carolina, the youngest of four sisters. She grew up there, completed high school, and went on to Lenoir-Rhyne College where she met Frank Cline, the man she would spend the rest of her life loving. They were married in 1957 and for the first 20 years of her marriage, she remained in Hickory where she laughed, loved, and started a family having two children-Frank Jr.(Sonny) and Dana. The family then moved to Clinton, Mississippi when Frank Sr. started a new job in the area. It was in Clinton that Sally would spend the rest of her life, making new friends and a new life for her children. Sally remained in close contact with her sisters and family in NC and saw them regularly throughout her life. Sally found her joy in life as a mother and a wife, but also worked in a variety of settings, always bringing a great attitude and work ethic wherever she worked. She was committed to her family, which provided the foundation for the success of her children and husband. She is described by many as sweet and giving, a true southern lady. In her last days, Sally voiced her satisfaction with her life and passed from this world with meaningful relationships intact with her husband, son, daughter, sister, grandchildren and extended family. She is now at peace with God, and those who survive her will rejoice with her someday. She is survived by her husband Franklin S. Cline Sr, son Franklin S. Cline Jr (Sonny) and his wife Treva, daughter Dana Lynn Cline, grandchildren Shelby Stanard, Dillon Stanard, Hunter Stanard, Sam Cline and Ella Cline as well as her sister Mary Sue Barnette and numerous nieces and nephews. Here's to you mom and your life well lived. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 5:30 PM in the Sanctuary of St. Mark's United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in honor of Sally Cline to the Baptist Health Foundation, 1225 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39202.
