Mr. Jesse Lee Boyd, 86, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998, at Sylview Health Care Center.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with the Rev. George Pevey officiating. Burial will be in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Boyd, a native of Screven County, was a shipyard worker with Savannah Machine and Foundry and a member of Sylvania First Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Carol Boyd, Sylvania, Gary L. Boyd, Sharpsburg, and Glenn H. Boyd, Dalton; two sisters, Earline B. Reddick, Sylvania, and Exie B. Haylow, Savannah; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
