CORINTH - Elvie Mae Sanders Beavers, 86, retired seamstress for Weaver Pants Factory after 25 years, died of heart failure Sunday at Corinth Health & Rehab Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Magnolia Funeral Home with burial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church. Mrs. Beavers, the widow of Rev. James F. Beavers, leaves a daughter, Clara Gale Davis of Corinth; two sons, Dennis Beavers of Jonesville, Mich., and Rickey Beavers of Federal Way, Wash.; three sisters, Ruby Wegmann Lancaster of Corinth, Valerie Nelson of Walnut and Lula Porterfield of Earle, Ark.; two brothers, Floyd Sanders of Bremen, Ala., and Arthur Sanders of Walnut, 15 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
