Rites Saturday for Mrs. Louis Herbold

Mrs. Louis T. Herbold, 69, lifelong Marion resident, died Thursday at 2:50 a.m. at her home, 501 Seventh Ave., following a long illness.
She was born Mabel Louise Spencer, July 11, 1890, in the same house in which she died. She was married to Mr. Herbold Oct. 20, 1914, in Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Herbold was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church in cedar Rapids, but attended the Lutheran Church for the Deaf.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Max A. Herbold, Des Moines; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Sawhill, Des Moines, and Mrs. Gail Hanson, Marion, and a sister, Mrs. Glenn Clark, Los Angeles.
Services: Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. at Murdoch chapel. Burial in Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 10 a.m. Friday.
