Steve Brewer, 78, of Milford passed away October 13, 2002. Loving husband of the late Cledith (nee Jarvis) Brewer. Devoted father. Caring grandfather of seven and great grandfather of six. Steve is also survived by his special companion, Ollie Lynch and his brothers, John (Arlene) and Bob (Emily) Brewer. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hobert (Mittie) Brewer and Roy Brewer.
Steve was a WWII Army paratrooper credited with 75 jumps. As a member of the 11th U.S. Army airborne Div., he was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in combat. Steve was also a 3rd degree Master Mason with the Carthage Lodge.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15th from 6:30-8:30 P.M. at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 16th at 11 A.M. at Craver-Riggs with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford.
