He was the son of Edwin Herrod Danner Sr. and Gladys B. (Tuttle) Danner-Edgington. On Oct 05, 1953, in Harrod, he married Nan Lee Brown, who survives in Lima.
Also surviving are three sons: Edwin Herrod III (Tamara Jo), Stephen Howard and Danny Lee (Jennifer); two daughters: Carolyn Kay (Stephen) King and Dianna Lynn (Steven) Cottrell; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers: Curtis Wayne and Tobias Ray.
He was formerly employed at Artcraft, Clark Equipment and the Allen County Engineers Office. He retired from Top Line Express. He was the recipient of the Top Line Express #1 Owner/Operator award. He also worked for W.H. Fay Co. and Central Transport. He was a member of Central Christian Church.
A funeral service will be at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, with Rev. Mark Tisch officiating.
