Born in San Diego, CA on April 9, 1932 to the late Donald and Pearl Keefer, Joyce resided in Colorado and Succasunna before moving to Mt. Arlington in 1966. Joyce held numerous sales and customer service occupations during her life. She worked for L.E. Carpenter, North Jersey Church Supply for 15 years, Epstein's for an additional 15 years and, lastly, for Talbot's. Joyce was a member of Grace Church in Netcong.
Devoted wife of 62 years of Jack G. Wiard, Loving mother of Jack E. Wiard and spouse Cindy, Michael Wiard, Jeanne Marra and spouse Christopher, cherished grandmother of Paul, Sarah, Jack and Heather and dearest sister of Shirley Mekeel and spouse Richard, Gary Keefer and spouse Barbara, the late Donald Keefer and his late spouse MaryLou and the late LoRaine Keefer . Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend, Jean Goldsworthy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Joyce's life celebration on Sunday June 15 from 2-6 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing. All are invited to attend prayer services on Monday June 16 beginning at 9:30 am at Grace Church, 1500 Route 46 East, Netcong, NJ. Joyce will be laid to rest at South Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, PA immediately following church services.
