Patricia Hall Bratton

Patricia "Patsy" Hall Bratton, 61 Returned to her family in Heaven on April 1, 2014 in Cedar City, Utah.

Pat was born May 14, 1952 to Horace Adair Hall and Fern Prince Hall in Cedar City.

Pat graduated Cedar City High School in 1970. She married Allen Walker Bratton in the St George Temple in 1971 and later divorced.

She worked, when her health allowed, as a clerical assistant for the Soil Conservation Service.

Pat enjoyed spending her time making crochet-style quilts and blankets, participating in her ward duties, and babysitting children who she loved as her own grandchildren.

Pat touched so many lives while she was here on earth by her example and authentic spirit. Despite her physical limitations, Pat always had a positive attitude and showed great kindness and compassion toward others. Pat's ability to understand others and see the good in all things were two of her many wonderful attributes. Pat was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was most proud of her children, grandson and her adopted Ross family and cherished the time she spent with them. They all agree that even the simplest of things was just better at Pat's house. Although Grandma Pat missed Paige's arrival here on earth, we know she sent her this way with enough love to last her a lifetime.

Survivors include; Cade (LuAnna) Bratton-Son, Parker, CO; Amy Leigh-Daughter, Las Vegas, NV; Herschel(Pat)Hall-Brother, Lehi, UT.; Doug(Laura) Hall-Brother, Fresno CA; Nila(Jerry)Perkins-Sister, Cedar City, UT; Nathan Bratton-Grandson, Parker, CO and Amy's brand new little miracle, Paige Patsy.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Adair Hall and Fern Prince Hall, Sister Joyce (Lee) Sherratt and Brother-in Law Jerry (Nila) Perkins

Pat's family would like to give deep gratitude to the many members of the Cedar City Heritage Park Ward. She was so fortunate to have so many good friends in the ward that loved her, and she, in return loved as family. We would also like to send a heartfelt thanks to caretakers Chris Hampton and Melody Scott. Last, but not least, we would like to thank the Ross Family, whose children adopted Pat as their Grandma and filled her days with so much joy and purpose.

Services will be held at the Heritage Park Chapel, 290 W 1045 N Cedar City UT. A viewing will be held Sunday, April 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral will be held Monday, April 7 at 11:00 AM. Viewing before the funeral will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
