Ricky Lynn “Dog” Settlemyre, 36, of Mooresville, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 in King. Born October 1, 1968 in Iredell County, he was the son of Tommy Ray Settlemyre of King and the late Karen Ferrell Settlemyre. He was a machine operator. Mr. Settlemyre was married to Dawn Bailey Settlemyre, who survives. In addition to his wife and father, survivors include a stepson, Tyler Briggs of Troutman; a stepdaughter, Savannah Alley of Mooresville; his grandmother, Vivian Settlemyre of Sherrills Ford; sisters, Billie Settlemyre of Cleveland and Danette Bumgardner of Mooresville; and stepbrothers, Scott and Gregg Settlemyre, both of King.
