Mary Ann Adams was born on July 11, 1884, in Jackson County, Indiana. She was the daughter of William and Susan Shank Adams.

On February 21, 1904, Mary Ann Adams and Franklin "Frank" Foist were married in Jackson County, Indiana. They had one daughter, Zula B. Foist, born on February 11, 1905. They were divorced, but the date is not known.

On November 14, 1920, Mary Ann Adams Foist and Bruce Elmer Davis were married in Jackson County, Indiana. They had no children and Bruce Davis died on January 21, 1934.

On February 20, 1936, Mary Ann Adams Foist Davis and Matthew Heagle were married in Columbus, Indiana.

OBITUARY Mrs. Mary Ann Heagle, 64 died at her home near Reddington of a complication of diseases Thursday morning. She had been ill about ten months. Mrs. Heagle was born in Jackson County on July 11, 1884, the daughter of William and Susan Shank Adams. She was married twice. First to Bruce Davis who died in 1934. On February 20, 1936 she was married at Columbus to Matthew Heagle, who survives. She was a member of the Redding Christian church and the Seymour Pythian Sisters lodge. Besides the mother and husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Zula Logeman, of Indianapolis; two step-sons, William Heagle of North Vernon, Donald Heagle of Texas; two brothers and a sister Mrs. Lulu Amick and John Adams, both of Columbus and Clarence Adams of Anderson. Funeral services in charge of the Rev. William L. Richmond, were conducted at the Reddington Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial in the Reddington Cemetery.
