Visitation is Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at National Funeral Home.
Ms. Marter died Dec. 31, 2013, at her daughters home.
She was born on Oct. 13, 1952, and was the daughter of Boyd Hood and Shirley Dunlap Hood of Webster County.
Ms. Marter was employed by Grenada Lake Medical Center as a license practical nurse II for 40 plus years. She attended Elliott Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Boyett (Daniel) of Grenada, and Christie Pollan (Curt) of Yalobusha County; one sister, Diane Worsham of Grenada; one brother, John Hood of Grenada; her mother, Shirley Hood of Grenada; and four grandchildren, Dallas Boyett, Denver Boyett, Heather Sparks, and Cody Pollan..
