Beverlee left the United States before she was 21 years old, she never voted here, although she did hold dual citizenships in both the United States and Mexico and came back on a regular basis until her health got to the point that she could no longer travel.

She was an avid tennis player, swimmer, made her own clothes and her four sons clothes when they were younger. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She loved to entertain and travel. One of her last trips was through the Panama Canal with her husband and her son Peter and family.

One of her many passions was her career as a teacher, an occupation lasting some fifty years. She taught English as a second language, Social Sciences, History, Mexican Archeology and Anthropology and when asked, any other subject.

She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt and one of the most interesting people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, how fortunate anyone was who crossed her path, as their world was a better place having her in it.

Our last visit with Aunt Beverlee and Uncle Nito was at Larry and Suzette's home in Sacramento, we had a wonderful time talking about family and enjoying each other's company. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see Aunt Beverlee, Uncle Nito, my first cousin Larry and his daughter Shannon, all loved and missed more than words can say.
