Warren Joseph Krebs, 92, died Dec. 2, 2013 in Salina. He was born Dec. 8, 1920 in Humphrey, NE, the son of Joseph and Clara (Baechler) Krebs. He was a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. and had served as a Lt. in the US Navy during WWII. He married Edith Quinlan on Nov. 5, 1949 in Omaha, NE. Warren was in merchandising and sales for International Paper Co., retiring in 1976. He was a lifetime member of the Elks and V.F.W.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bruce; and sisters, Nancy Krebs and Mary Ann Nissen.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Krebs, and his son, Kevin Krebs, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at St. Mary's Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Burial will be on Sunday, Dec. 8, in the St. Francis Cemetery, Humphrey, NE. at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be Friday Dec. 6th at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with Vigil services at 7:00 pm.
