Rachael Compton Hoel was the daughter of Jacob R. and Orriminah Hyde Compton. She married James Hoel, son of Walter and Phoebe Tucker Hole, Sept. 9, 1810 in Hamilton Co., Ohio. They divorced sometime between 1820 and 1830. Their children were Eunice, Elizabeth, James W. and George W. Hoel.
