Arthur was the oldest son of John Wolnowski, Jr. and his first wife, Augusta Wilkewitz. The family resided in Springwells Township, Detroit, at 561 (which later became 3817) Livernois Avenue. Arthur attended Zion Lutheran Church with his family and worked in wallpaper retail. Sadly, he succumbed to meningitis at the young age of 25. He was laid to rest in the Lawndale section of the cemetery on June 11, 1930.
