Born Feb. 7, 1909, he was the son of the late Molly T. and Stuart F. Brookman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alva Lester Brookman.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Chinault and Miss Jackie Brookman, both of Pulaski, Mrs. Dianne Risgaard of Wisconsin, and Mrs. Nancy Mize of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one son, B. K. Brookman of Kentucky; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Akers of Pulaski, Mrs. Annie Martin and Mrs. Helen Perdue, both of Narrows, and Mrs. Hazel Burkhart of California; and five brothers, Linsey Brookman of Radford, Robert Brookman of Chattanooga, Tenn., Willie Brookman of Indiana,: Ralph Brookman of Front Royal, and Earl Brookman of Tennessee.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Bower Funeral Home in Pulaski.
