Ephraim Milus Alexander inherited his parents plantation that adjoined his brother James Leander Alexanders land.He was a Justice of The Peace and local official. He inherited several slaves and kept a record of their births.
He married first Martha(Mattie) Morrison and second Lydia Eve Danner. He built a beautiful Two Story house that faced the entrance of Marvin Curch Rd.This house and the land was left to his son Baxter Alexander. Baxter was betrothed to his Cousin Jessie Alexander but died of Pneumonia before they could be married.
The Hompelace was divided and sold to the Dagenhart brothers. The House and surrounding acres was pruchased by James Austin Dagenhart who was married to Ephraim's great Granddaugter Hettie Blanch Massie.The House burned during their ownership. Esker and Mary Rector Elder own the land at present.
Hettie Blanch Massey was the daugter of Loula Warren Massey who was the daughter of Elizabeth Louisa Alexander Warren.
