Harry M. Landaw

Harry Melvin Landaw, 79, a lifelong resident of Goshen and a retired employee of the City Light and Water Works, died unexpectedly in a heart attack at his home, 111 East Pike Street, about 2 p.m., Monday.
Mr. Landaw, a veteran of World War I, was born in Elkhart County, near Goshen, Nov. 26, 1884. He married the former Grace Reafsnyder, Jan. 12, 1920. Mr. Landaw was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Landaw are a daughter, Mr. James (Frances) Hawes, Elkhart; two grandchildren; a brother, Claude, former Goshen city clerk-treasurer; and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Pawell, South Bend.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Culp Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bruce Mosier, pastor of St. James Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
