Clyde H. Anglin, age 93, of the Jacks Creek Community, passed peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 at Chunns Cove Assisted Living. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Will "MW" and Cora Bailey Anglin and husband of Flaude "Dale" Anglin, who passed away in 2010. He was also preceded by his five brothers: Garrett, Cecil, Suel, Fred and Woodrow "Crick" Anglin. Clyde was a WWII Army Veteran and life long member of Jacks Creek Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons: Suel Anglin of Asheville and John Anglin of Woodfin; two daughters: Brenda A. McIntosh and husband, Bill, of Charlotte and Barbara Anglin-Salmond and husband, Ron, of St. Helen, Michigan. Three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one gg grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 19th at Jacks Creek Presbyterian Church. Rev. Pete Peterson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Anglin Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
