Wanda Lee Fine Aldridge, 81, passed peacefully on Sept. 8, 2013. Wanda, an AZ native, was born January 18, 1932 in Phoenix. She was a devout Catholic who treasured her years at St. Mary's Catholic Church where she attended first grade through high school. She married the love of her life, Jack Aldridge, in April of 1955. Wanda worked at Goldwater's and St. Joseph's Hospital before moving with Jack and family to Dateland AZ in 1969. She was the Migrant Clerk and bookkeeper for Hyder School District. Wanda was a caring, kind, selfless lady who not only was a loving mother to her children but to many others along the way. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack; son Michael and granddaughter Maile. She is survived by mother, Minnie Lou Fine; daughter Cherokee (John), sons John (Lisa), Joe and Robert; former daughter-in-law Sheila; grandsons Jaden, David (Kate), Justin; and Great-granddaughter Marleau. Rosary at 9:30AM, mass at 10:00AM will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5614 W. Orangewood, Glendale, AZ 85301 on Mon. Sept 16, 2013. Burial will follow at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W.
