Bass, who was the golf professional at the Lake Worth Golf Course from 1940-1952, and was a charter member of the Lake Worth B.P.O.E. Does Drove #146, American Legion Auxiliary Unit #47, and the Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W., member of the Lake Worth Lioness Club since 1980
Survived by son, Victor H. Bass of Lake Worth; grandchildren, Victor Clayton Bass of Dallas, Texas, Claudia Corinne Hill of Miami, FL, Claude Curtis Bass of Orlando; brothers, Harry and Robert Herman of Unionville, Iowa; sisters, Gretchen Eidsen and Fern Jones, both of Ottumwa, Iowa, Fairy McGrann of Mystic, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 1987 at the E. EARL SMITH & SON FUNERAL HOME, EAST CHAPEL, 1032 N. Dixie Hwy., Lake Worth.
