SUFFOLK - Charles W. Raynor III, 59, of Suffolk, formerly of Hampton, went home to his Heavenly Father on June 7, 2005. He was the owner and operator of Raynor's Auto Repair, and known for his love of old automobiles.

Mr. Raynor was preceded in death by a daughter, Christie Raynor, and mother, Alma Raynor. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Raynor; father, Charles Raynor Jr. of Carrollton; sons, Charles Raynor IV of Chesapeake and Henry Raynor of Suffolk; daughters, Barbara Raynor of Michigan, Brenda Faller, Shirley Aube and Roxann Raynor, all of Suffolk; brother, Andrew Raynor of Newport News; sister, Jane Manning of Lancaster; aunt, Mabel Lewis of Richmond; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and his dearest and closest friend, Ralph Quinn of Hampton.

Funeral services will be 2pm Friday at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will be in Corrottoman Baptist Cemetery, Ottoman. Friends may call 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Obituary, Daily Press, June 9, 2005.
