70, Lincoln, died Tuesday (8/30/05). Retired in 1996, switchman for Burlington Northern Railroad after 40 years. Graduate of Keya Paha County High School, 1953. Received barber's license in 1956 from Nebraska School of Barbering in Omaha. He was a sports enthusiast as a player, coach, referee and fan. From little league baseball, NCAA basketball to thoroughbred horse racing; he loved them all.

Visitation: From 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, (9/2/05) at Roper & Sons Chapel, 4300 "O" Street.

Family Gathering: Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Cemetery: Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials: To the family for future designation.

Family members include: JoAnn; daughters, son-in-law, Denise Sanders, Lincoln, Joette and Jeff Hartshorn, Seward; sons, daughter-in-law, Scott, Mike and Tammy, all Lincoln; brother, sister-in-law, Don and Lenore Larsen, Lusk, Wyo.; step-children, spouses, Nancy and John Irons, Mike and Amy Waldman, all Lincoln. Deb Bruner, Missouri, Mary Lynn Waldman, Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by father, Lou; mother, Bonnie Bellin and husband John; brother, Gerald.
