Thelma M. DiBartolo, 79, of Hopewell Twp., passed away in her home on August 27, 2013 with her family by her side.

She was born May 25, 1934, in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Marino and Clara (Francona) Cilli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicola DiBartolo, whom she shared 61 years of marriage with; two brothers, William and Robert Chilli, and a sister, Victoria Seltz.

Thelma was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She was also a faithful member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

Thelma was a loving homemaker to her children and grandchildren who survive her: Victor and Linda DiBartolo, Independence Twp.; Roberta and Edward Oskin, and Patricia DiBartolo, all of Hopewell Twp.; her cherished grandchildren: Drs. Laura and Jason Simonton, Mark DiBartolo, Eric Oskin, Craig Oskin, Justin and Ashley McLaughlin, Brandon and Kathi McLaughlin, Jordan McLaughlin, Jared McLaughlin, Sheri and George Chernisky, Sean and Janelee Oskin; two great-grandchildren: Lilly Nicole Simonton and Tyler Chernisky; special friends: Brian, Samantha and Wyatt Mann and Candice O'Connor. Thelma is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC., 21st and McMinn Streets, Aliquippa, 724-375-0496.

The family would like to thank the caregivers who took care of their mom, especially Claire, Dana, Joyce, Glenda, Marie and Nancy and also the staff of Vistas Hospice for the compassionate care that was given to Thelma.
