Rev. W.T. McFarland, 91 of Moore, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 12, 2013. W.T. was born on Dec. 19, 1921 in Rufe, OK, to Steve and Elizabeth McFarland. He pastored and ministered in churches in Oklahoma for over 60 years. W.T. enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a master craftsman who enjoyed working with his hands. He was a man whose love and faithfulness for his family was only surpassed by that of the Lord. W.T. is survived by his daughter, Margreete Waugh and husband Duane, of Moore; and son, Jimmie McFarland and wife Deborah, of Choctaw; 3 grandsons, John, Matt & wife, Tracey and Jared & wife, Drina; 3 great-grandchildren, T.J., Victoria and Angel; 1 brother, J.C. McFarland, of Sweet Home, OR; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Eugenia McFarland; 2 brothers; and 6 sisters. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wed., July 17, 2013 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK. Funeral Services will be 1:30pm, Thurs., July 18, 2013 at Lynlee Mae Chapel, located at 507 E. Main, Moore, OK, with District Superintendent Rev. H. Franklin Cargill officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, in Oklahoma City, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel.
