Mr. Johnson farmed a short while before becoming a truck driver and mechanic. he has been active for many years in the Story City Lutheran Church Sunday School, as a teacher and superintendent. Carl and Anna had one child, Carroll Eugene Johnson, who died in early infancy. he is buried in the Jewell Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is still very active as a seamstress and homemaker at 408 Lafayette, Story City, Iowa.
