J.W.B. Lancaster has a CSA pension application on line under Heard County in the GA Archives. He gives DOB as 16 Nov 1844. He says he enlisted in July 1864 in Griffin, GA and then transferred to Co. H. of the 2nd GA reserves. He says he was left behind in Thomasville, GA in April 1865 because he was in the hospital sick. Proof of his death on 10 Jan 1919 in Heard County is included on the page by his wife, Mrs. E. H. Lancaster.
