MRS. VIOLA MAY MOATS, 59, of 2010 Reedy Parkway, Halfway, died Friday morning at her home.

The widow of Willard Moats, she was a daughter of Jacob Higgins, a patient at Williamsport Sanitarium, and the late Mary Elizabeth Hose Higgins of Williamsport.

She was a member of Calvary Temple Church, Williamsport.

Mrs. Moats leaves a stepson, Charles Moats of Keedysville; brothers, David Higgins, RFD Williamsport; Charles Higgins and Paul Higgins, both of Williamsport Rt. 2; and Clyde Higgins, Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs. Milton Moats and Mrs. Richard Moats, both of Williamsport; Mrs. Hugh Spiker, Martinsburg, W. Va.; and Mrs. Gladys Everetts, Chambersburg; 4 step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services Monday at 2 pm at Calvary Temple, Williamsport with the Rev. Vernon W. Miles officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Williamsport. Arrangements made by Leaf Funeral Home.
