Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, East Hanover. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. Paul was a customer service supervisor for U.S. Airways, Orlando, Fla., for the past 24 years. He was the loving son of Celestino M. and Maria A. (nee Carapinha) Valente; dear brother of Elizabeth V. Paizis and her husband, Peter; grandson of Maria Albertina Soares, and nephew of Maria Do Carmo Soares.
